Welcome to FurFolio! By accessing or using FurFolio (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

• You confirm you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you represent you have parental/guardian consent.
   
• Children’s Privacy (COPPA/GDPR): The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are in the EEA/UK, you must be 16+ (or have verifiable parental consent) to use the App.
   
• Your use must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
   
• You also agree to our Privacy Policy.
   

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we’ll notify you via in-app notice and/or email. Your continued use after changes become effective means you accept the new Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities under it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You agree you will not:

• Post false, misleading, offensive, or illegal content.
   
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others; send spam or scams.
   
• Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, hack, or damage the App or its services.
   

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Strictly prohibited:

• Hate speech, threats, harassment.
   
• Violent, obscene, or sexually explicit content.
   
• Misinformation, impersonation, or illegal activity.
   
• Spam, scams, or self-harm promotion.
   

Consequences may include removal, suspension/ban, and, where appropriate, legal action. You can report content via the “Report” button.

• We may monitor, remove, restrict, or moderate content that violates our policies.
   
• Users can report content using the in-app Report feature.
   
• Repeated violations may result in a permanent ban.
   
• You may appeal removals by contacting support@furfolioapp.com.
   

• You retain ownership of content you post.
   
• You grant FurFolio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, display, and distribute your content solely to operate and improve the App.
   
• We may remove or disable access to content that violates these Terms.
   
• FurFolio is not liable for user-generated content.
   

DMCA / IP Claims: If you believe content infringes your rights, email support@furfolioapp.com with:

• your contact info,
   
• a description of the work,
   
• the allegedly infringing content’s location,
   
• a statement under penalty of perjury,
   
• your signature.
   

• You can block users to prevent interactions; blocked users cannot view or interact with your profile.
   
• Abusing blocking/reporting features may lead to account review.
   

• FurFolio offers paid subscriptions (e.g., Basic, Premium).
   
• Billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play; FurFolio does not store your full payment details.
   
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
   
• Manage or Cancel: Use your device’s App Store / Google Play subscription settings.
   
• Trials: Free trials convert to paid unless canceled before they end.
   
• Refunds: Subject to App Store / Google Play policies; requests must be made through the respective store.
   
• We may offer tier-specific entitlements and limits; access may change if you upgrade/downgrade/cancel.
   

• The AI vet assistant, forum posts, tips, and any content in the App are for informational purposes only and not medical advice.
   
• Always consult a licensed veterinarian for diagnosis or treatment. In emergencies, call your local emergency vet or 911 (or your local equivalent).
   
• FurFolio does not practice veterinary medicine or provide veterinary services.
   

• The App may link to third-party services (e.g., Google Maps, Amazon). We may earn a commission if you purchase through affiliate links.
   
• We do not allow third-party ad tracking. Data shared with integrations is limited to what is necessary to provide the feature.
   
• Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their policies.
   

The App, including software, text, graphics, logos, trademarks (including “FurFolio”), and other materials are the intellectual property of Broadview Enterprises LLC or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or included content without prior written permission.

Your purchase and use via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are also subject to their terms and policies. Where there’s a conflict, those terms may apply.

• We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
   
• FurFolio is designed to minimize tracking and data collection. We only collect what is needed for the app to function.
   
• Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data.
   
• To exercise rights or request deletion/export, contact support@furfolioapp.com.
   

By using the App, you consent to receive essential service-related communications (e.g., account updates, subscription notices). You can manage push or email notifications in Settings.

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FurFolio and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FurFolio and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

• Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver: Except for small-claims court, any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the AAA under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and FurFolio waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.
   
• Opt-Out: You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice to support@furfolioapp.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
   

• You may delete your account at any time in the App.
   
• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or as required by law.
   
• Upon termination, the license granted to you ends immediately.
   

• Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
   
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
   
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them.
   
• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
