At FurFolio, we respect your privacy. We collect only the information necessary to provide our services, and we do not track users across apps or sell personal data.

We collect only what you choose to provide or what’s needed for the app to work:

• Account Info: Name, email, and password for login.
   
• Pet Info: Details you enter (e.g., names, breeds, medical history).
   
• Uploads: Photos, records, or forum posts you share.
   
• Location (optional): If you enable location services, we use it only to show nearby vets and pet-friendly places.
   

We do not use advertising trackers or cross-app tracking.

We use your information only to:

• Provide and personalize FurFolio features (e.g., reminders, care plans).
   
• Support community interactions (e.g., forum posts, blocking/reporting).
   
• Send essential notifications (e.g., reminders, subscription updates).

• Service providers (e.g., Firebase for login, AWS for storage) strictly to run FurFolio.

We keep your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide FurFolio. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data unless we must keep it for legal reasons.

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption, secure hosting, access controls) to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

You can:

• Access or update your account info in the app.
   
• Request deletion of your data by emailing support@furfolioapp.com.
   
• Manage notifications in app settings.
   

If you are in the EU/UK or California, you have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability). We comply with GDPR and CCPA/CPRA requirements.

• FurFolio is not directed to children under 13.
   
• In the EU/UK, you must be 16 or older (or have parental consent).
   
• If we discover data from a child without consent, we will delete it.
   

We may update this Privacy Policy. Updates will be posted in the app and on our website. Continued use of FurFolio means you accept the updated policy.
